YES introduces business clinic
The youth enterprise support has started a nationwide program known as
business clinic to assist youth entrepreneurs with business plan preparation to
enable them access the YES fund. The Youth Enterprise Support (YES) initiative
has been designed to help Ghana's young and innovative population turn great
ideas into thriving business enterprises.
The program was initiated by President John Dramani Mahama with a ten million Ghana cedis (GH¢10,000,000) seed fund to assist young Ghanaians with creative and innovative business ideas and plans to achieve their full potential. Applications were opened on the 1st of September 2014 and were closed at November 28th 2014. The applicants are taking through training on preparations of business plan
Ahead of the launch in the Ashanti region, the head of operation
at Youth entrepreneur support, Kwaku Boateng Dadson said the business clinic
will equipped applicants of the YES fund the needed knowledge on preparation of
their business plan to fit into the YES Fund system of selection
