My Life And God. True life story by Joseph Osei Oppong Brenya

Image
I was very happy when a friend said to me "Joseph this Sunday lets go to the house of GOD" I heard that name when I was a kid growing up. my grandmother and my kindred with other people say "he is omnipotent,  omnipresent,  merciful and great" I have grown and can understand why these appellations were given to him. Growing up, I was a very  curious boy ready to experiment with life I developed the penchant to know more about this God that I have done a lot of study about. Whiles  in my study and journey of life, I went through some turbulence and striangulations, in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 20013, I was raised by just a mother,  in a Christian home where purity was a demand. Somewhere I went off track in this journey of life. I use to see myself too Holy to extend that I will do something bad and even  think I didn't do it. At a time,  I thought something different is operating my actions with no power to curb it. In the years i mentioned above, i...

Fire Guts Shops And Cars At Suame Magazine

Fire has gutted over ten shops and eight vehicles at Suame Magazine in the Ashanti Region, casing damage to properties worth thousands of cedis. So far, the extent of the damage has been blamed on the late intervention by the Ghana Fire Service as a mechanic who only gave his name as Korsah revealed the harm could have been subdued should there have been a timely intervention. “Because we don’t have a fire service station at the Magazine, it was difficult reaching them. Though we finally succeeded in calling them, it took them about an hour to come here. So when they came around 1am, all the eight cars and ten shops had been destroyed,” he stated. In the meantime, the Ghana Fire Service is yet to come out with the actual cause of the outbreak as eyewitnesses claim the fire might have erupted due to an electrical fault.
