A letter to my new born son
Boakye Adepa Oppong Brenya, as I give you this name today on your birth certificate, it is my prayer you grow up to be what God want you to be.
I have a covenant with God and I know he will keep faith with you.
Your father never had the kind of life I and your Mum ready to give you.
I might not be rich but am doing well to secure you the best future.
Through the turbulence and challenges, i prevailed.
I pray God gives you my strength and the will to make it even through life challenges. Take the heart of your mum, Comfort Owusu Adobea.
You have the best mum in the world, the best woman I ever know. Trust her because she will never disappoint you. Your mum has been very good to me, when all deserted me, your mum was there. She has made a lot of sacrifices.
Please son! you have the best mum.
We got you in a way which is wrong in the eyes of God, but I promise you I will make it right to honor you. I will walk down the aisle very soon
As you grow you will meet challenges but in all believe in God and do his will and you will come out safe and strong.
Your father has a good heart. I love helping people when they are in need, but I tell you my son know who you help and how you do it.
All my life I try to help people but I turn to be the bad one even though my conscience are clear devoid of evil.
Be careful with friends who will hail you because they are the same people who will crucify you.
When age catches up with me, comfort me, when challenges begin to come your way, read your Bible. When friends let you down, know that you have God.
Reade the Bible all time when you feel lonely.
When you worry, read Matthew 6:19-34
In danger, Psalm 91
When God seems far away, read Psalm 139
When your faith needs stirring, read Hebrews 11
When you are lonely and fearful, read Psalm 23When you grow bitter and critical, read 1 Cor 13
Don't trust any man. Beware of hypocrites.
I love you my son.
Again, you have the best mum in the world.
