CSUC introduces innovation and entrepreneurship incubation center

As part of effort to promote youth entrepreneurship in the country, The Christian Service University College and African collegiate entrepreneurs has introduce innovation and entrepreneurship incubation center (IEIC). Torch Bearers Diaspora Inc. (based in the united states), through its affiliate, African collegiate entrepreneur (ace), is partnering with christian service university college to set up this innovation and entrepreneurship incubation center (IEIC) with the aim of translating student innovations into viable business ventures. the launching of the center is under the theme: “growing one entrepreneur at a time for Ghana's development”.

Ghana through torch bearers diaspora has over the past six years been grooming young graduates to implement their dream businesses and ideas. some of these young people have become successful with their businesses; others are in the process of realizing their dreams; but there is still much more to be done to help the Ghanaian youth acquire the necessary skills to build sustainable businesses. these people have the passion to help contribute to the eradication of poverty in Africa and they believe that, the best way out is to armed and empower the Ghanaian youth through entrepreneurship.

Torch bearers diaspora for the past six years have been working in all the public universities grooming young men and women to take up the challenge of creating their own businesses without sitting idle, waiting to be employed in a formal employment. over the six year period, ace Shana has been monitoring some of the graduates who have gone through our training programmes. some have been very successful, others are gradually growing their companies.

we believe that if this process is continued and given the necessary support and backing, it will be a revolutionary process of ending graduate unemployment in the country and in the long run help curb poverty in Ghana and in Africa. currently the focus of ace Ghana is to establish incubation centers on various universities across the country with the aim of growing one entrepreneur at a time.

The venue for this launch is the auditorium of the christian service university college, located at odeneho kwadaso, off santasi-opoku ware shs road, opposite star guest house, kumasi. the date for the programme is Wednesday, 15th April, 2015 at 11.30am prompt.
